Our Mission

Our mission is to engage at-risk young people in activities, mentoring, and counseling in a warm and supportive community in order to help them avoid substance abuse, delinquency, and other risky behaviors.

About GVYC

The Greenwich Village Youth Council is a non-profit youth-serving agency that has been empowering at-risk youth since 1969. We provide a range of free programming at various locations in lower Manhattan. Whenever possible, we strive to engage the adult supports in the lives of the young people we reach.
